Rutgers painted John Christmas' house in Short Hills last spring.

John is my brother Matt's friend. Rutgers painted Matt's house in Short Hills last summer. Matt highly recommended you to me.

Your crew (Michael was foreman) sanded 60 years of paint off my house and did a great paint job. *4th of July weekend was in middle of job and they hid ALL equipment behind bushes so we wouldnt have to see it over the weekend I didnt ask them to do it. A few "shadows" came through on the cedar shakes and they came back twice to fix it.

I referred my neighbor to you (Susan Thomas, also lives on The By Way here in Ridgewood) who has a huge home with guest house, etc. She is very particular and was very pleased with your work.

Last week Rutgers painted my dark paneled den. (Jeff was estimator. Great guy. Note: PJ had done original estimate and Jeff said he bid it very low, but because we had paid the deposit he honored the price. Thanks. Leo was foreman and walked us through EVERY detail. He is the best. ) LOTS of trim/cutting, etc. Shelac primer, sprayed first paint coat, then rolled and brushed finish coat. Removed hardware, covered everything, SO neat about it all. Amazing finished product.

Of all the work I've had done on my home over the years, Rutgers is, by far, the most professional company I've dealt with.

I will be sure to continue to highly recommend Rutgers to friends, family, etc.

Mrs. Adams and Mr. Carreiro

I am writing to let you know how please my husband and I were with the paint job Rutgers Painting did on out house. From start to finish, everyone involved with Rutgers conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism.

I especially want to call out Diego Elizondo; he showed my husband why Rutgers would be the best company for our needs. When my husband did extensive research-he not only gets a second opinion,

he gets eight or nine-he found what Diego said to be true.

Our house was an especially difficult job; it had layers of vinyl siding, shingled and lot of nail holes. It needed to be completely sanded (where there wasn't a need for new siding). It was a big job.

Marvin, Rudy, German and Gilbert did it well and were very responsive to any request. Great people. Each person was a friendly, courteous, very hard-working, fast and a good painter. We would recommend every one of them and were very satisfied with our experience.

And clean-up was so good, every day and at the end of the job, that my windows were sparkling when the job was done...an extra treat at the end of a satisfying experience.

Mrs. Thompson

A heartfelt thank you for an amazing job at my clients home in Basking Ridge. I've worked with many contractors throughout this current project and Rutgers was by far the most professional and responsible. Your staff is wonderful! I appreciated your willingness to accommodate the customer and continue to work until her complete satisfaction was met. I look forward to working with you in the future and will recommend you whenever I get the opportunity.

Mr. Knut Holzer

I am a difficult customer, who makes a living restoring and producing high quality antique show cars. I have also restored a 100 year old home myself, so I understand paint and quality. I have very high standards on preparation and quality of finish work. I expect quality and will not accept less.

I want to thank you for the way you handled a very difficult situation at my home. As you may recall I was upset when I returned from vacation woith the quality of some of the workmanship performed by

your initial crew of painters. It was unlikely that your company could come back from such a negative impression, but you did! What is more surprising is that I am so favorably impressed that I would recommend your services. I am overjoyed by the quality of the finished product and especially the crew managed by Heiner.

Any company can tell you that they are the best at their work. I had two other well regarded established painters perform work on my premises over the past five years and was disappointed with them both. The quality of your preparation sets your company far above from any other painting company I have seen in the past thirty years of home ownership. Most painters will scrape an area of peeling paint, prime it and paint. Your company strips the area to bare wood, feathers any edges, primes with two types of primer, then paint the area. Your responsiveness and concern to my objections were handled promptly and without hesitation or excuse. Your crew is neat, respectful of my children, wife and even the family do.

Your company is a rare example of what all companies should be today. Heiner asked me everyday if I was satisfied with the quality, and if I had any concerns. Not only did he ask, but he immediately took care of my concerns. Keep up the great work. I will be seeing you again for the painting of the interior of my home.

Mr. O'Brien

Thorough, attention to detail, willing to give that little extra, extremely hard working, neat, courteous, great attitude; all those things made this team one of the best I have ever seen, and not only in house painting.

It's as if they adopted my house and sis the work as if it was their own. Heiner was always in touch and available for questions. Knocking on the door to say goodnight was a nice touch, and asking for

feedback on the days work is quiet unusual.

You must be doing something right to be able to motivate your teams to perform such a high level of quality.

This was more than a paint job, it was an artistic experience.
